Requirements: University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent Solid experience in purchasing, supplier relationship management, and complex negotiations; Experience within the manufacturing industry, with proven knowledge of electrical components such as power distribution, connectors, and specialty cables considered a strong Advantage; Proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead fact-based negotiations, and secure business decisions; Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Strong business acumen, cost optimization mindset, and agility in way of working; Positive attitude, service minded and target oriented approach; Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose; Strong team player with the ability to lead, take ownership, and operate with autonomy; Ability to be open minded, to encourage collaboration and to add value with a continuous improvement mindset; Motivated by change management and ability to drive change working experience; Multicultural experience; Willingness to travel occasionally. Activities: You will lead purchasing activities within your scope, working with internal and external stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction and business value; You will be accountable for supplier QDCF performance across your segments, driving negotiations, cost optimization, ordering, logistics coordination, and financial flows with a clear focus on execution, competitiveness, and sustainable results; You will ensure the segment strategy is continuously updated and effectively implemented by selecting the right suppliers, challenging supplier QDCF performance, and using Volvo Group purchasing tools and cross-functional networks across project, production, and aftermarket phases for revenue segments.
